Our 10-Day Program

Is your snow trip almost here and you have neglected to get your body ready for it?

As part of your Snow Fitness membership, you have access to our 10-Day Program 365 days a year. We encourage you to complete it whenever you feel you need an extra fast snow-fit boost.

A great way to look at it is like you are cram studying for an exam which you know you should have started studying for quite some time ago.

It’s an excellent reminder of what muscles really are going to be used on snow. As you complete this 10 day program multiple times throughout the 365 days, you might wish to add some more variety. We encourage you to do a few sessions where you count repetitions instead of watching the clock.  Complete 2 – 4 sets of 20 – 25 repetitions of each exercise in the session. Do this only once per session.

Our 30-Day Program

Planned your Snow trip? Now its time to get your body ready for it!

As part of your Snow Fitness membership, you have access to our 30-Day Program 365 days a year. We encourage you to complete it whenever you feel you need to ramp up your skiing and snowboarding exercise.

If you are a Northern and Southern Hemisphere skier and/or snowboarder and just love chasing the snow whenever it’s available, this is great to do before each season.

If you want to complete this 30-Day Program multiple times throughout the 365 days and wish to add some more variety, we encourage you to do a few sessions where you count repetitions instead of watching the clock. Random Smash-Out Sessions

These are sessions that have been designed for you to use anytime, anywhere to compliment your training throughout the year. These are a mix of sessions all with our Snow Fitness touch – just choose what you feel like doing. They all work and will challenge you in various ways.

Stretching

We all need to stretch more. Stretching is a critical part of overall health and fitness however it’s often overlooked.

Stretching is important for our range of motion, injury prevention, overall good health and is beneficial in maintaining the ability to do everyday tasks. With limited time in our busy lives people tend to focus on their cardiovascular and strength training while neglecting the stretching component.

Here at Snow Fitness we have made it easy for you – just choose one of our stretch programs and let us guide you through it. Mix it up to keep it interesting. Do your body and mind a favour by doing an extra Snow Fitness stretch session three times per week.

Outdoor Park Workout

Have you often wondered how to use your local outdoor fitness park or one that you find when on holidays? We like to mix it up and have fun. Try one of our park workouts and just get a few new ideas to suit the equipment you are presented with in your park.

Snow-Specific Core Care

Core work is so important for everyday life and is especially important to be completely Snow Fit. Having a stronger core that functions well in every way will keep you on snow longer when skiing and snowboarding, and will help you avoid injuries. Having a strong core will allow you to recover faster and therefore allow you to keep doing what you love – skiing and snowboarding day in and day out!

Knee Preparation For The Snow

Knee care is so important for many sports, especially skiing and snowboarding. These amazing snow sports place many varying angles to your knees when under load which we are not used to in our everyday life. Give our Snow Fitness specific knee preparation program some time and use the ski and snowboard exercises throughout the year to keep on top of your knee health.

Snow Specific Leg Care

Our base programs are all about snow-specific leg care, however here we give you a little something extra… If you need a bit of an extra leg smash, specific to the all-important muscles we need on snow, throw this in to your training mix – you will not be sorry! 

Snow Specific Back And Neck Care

This is a great snow-specific program targeted to keep your back and neck extra strong in the positions you will find yourself in on snow. If you are quite new to skiing and snowboarding you will put even more unavoidable stress on your neck and back so please do our program and feel the difference on snow!
