Winter 2017… Just keeps on giving!!!

With many parts of Australia experiencing beautiful spring weather conditions, here in the Snowy Mountains we are having none of it!

Winter 2017 just keeps on delivering snowstorm after snowstorm and we love it.

As the light came up this morning to reveal the blanket of snow covering Jindabyne and the surrounding areas we all knew the rumoured Blizzard Of Oz 3.0 had arrived!

This winter storm has hit us all so unexpected and is bringing with it so much excitement, and most of all snow… heaps and heaps of fresh powder snow!!!

With the combination of the Snowy Mountains resorts each boasting over 60cm of fresh snow falling over the past 24 hours, continual snow fall all day (even in Jindabyne) and Weatherzone upgrading the possibility of 80cm of snow falling just today alone, this storm already has all of us snow lovers unable to wipe the smiles off our faces!

For me, being able to rip around the mountains doing what I truly love is one of my favourite things to do!

My personal Snow Fitness allows me to ski from first lifts to last lifts if I wish, whilst allowing me to have fun all over the mountain, experiencing all types of terrain and snow conditions.

I love the certainty of knowing that my body is ready when snowstorms like this occur.

I created Snow Fitness as I want everyone who loves skiing and snowboarding to be able to feel strong, safe and unstoppable on the mountain.

It really is an amazing feeling when you can decide you have had enough, not have your body tell you it can’t possibly do any more!
